“It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end… because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing thing… this shadow. Even darkness must pass.”

Research Into Target Audience: Ideas for trailer vlog

I had so much fun making this vlog with my friends (of whom each would be in my trailer as each of the sins, Megan as Pride, Paige as Gluttony and Shea as Wrath.) To edit it I used
Adobe Premier Pro CC 2015
which is brilliant and has so many features to make the video as simply cut or creative as you want (but never tacky; unless if that's what you're aiming for) It didn't take me long to get the jist of how it works, and though I'm just using a 30 day trial at the moment, I'll be sure to re-download it for the rest of my editing! The only error is that Blogger cannot hold the size of the normal H.264 'Match-Source' file (can only take up to a tiny 100MB video) so I had to reduce the quality to a measly 480p video! And that didnt work either, so I'm uploading the original 1080HD mp4 file onto Youtube as a private video in order to upload here from there...
I am very disappointed that I have to go through this process...Oh well
(I think I'll be using the 'through Youtube' process with all my vlogs now!)

Be aware that though I tried to keep this audience research as professional as possible, there is a bit of tomfoolery (which is necessary in my humble opinion; no one likes a boring interview!) and I tried to make the editing reflective of that. I found myself not really going in complete chronological order (often slotting random 'cut aways' to show a reaction) so as well as the vlog containing some interesting information, it was to help me develop my hand-held camera work as well as my editing work. To think that out of the 40 minutes of footage I filmed, only 6 minutes made it into the vlog!

ENJOY! :D
