“It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end… because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing thing… this shadow. Even darkness must pass.”

Drafting and Planning: Development in ideas again!

I don't want to make another 'word heavy' blog post, but I've just thought of some ideas which could make my previous 'make-up' related posts VERY relevant...

Protagonist: Alice

I'm calling her Alice since there's an 'Alice in Wonderland' theme in the fact she tries to 'escape' from reality, and brings 'virtual' people (online lads) with her to her fantasies.

Alike how there's different iconic characters in Alice in Wonderland (Mad Hatter, White Rabbit, Red Queen etc) maybe Alice in my story has different 'characters' of her own that she dresses up as and 'performs' as. The 'Succubus' dress up could be a sort of 'request' someone told her to do, or she may dress up as Alice or the 'Queen of Hearts' as her iconic character... Another iconic character of hers could be a broken doll. Or at least, she'd feel like that at the end -  the broken doll would be a physical metaphor for what she becomes.

Perhaps it could be similar to Submarine to the sense her existence makes the lives of some isolated lads less lonely, since she gives them an emotional connection they never had before, as well as indulging them in a dangerous way. She'd go 'all out' to make them happy in whatever way she could.

I think I'm liking my idea MUCH more now! There's more of a psychological point to her actions, less scandal (more of an emotional care for the guys she'd connect with) and I could imagine much more content being within the trailer now!
