Like I said a few posts ago, I've been obsessed with the 2003 Peter Pan film these days, and it made me think on Captain Hook. Being the soppy romantic I am, (and since Peter Pan, in elements is a soppy, gorgeous romance) I thought on what the past of Captain Hook could've been. I'm sure many have already wrote on this idea, but I've been thinking personally on what could've happened.
Since in the film, we see him as 'the villain' and usually, I favour the villains in these sorts of stories; since they're judged a lot and have so much to them which is never delved into enough--and are usually the most human and relatable characters.
Captain Hook says to Peter near the end 'You will die alone and unloved... just like me' this makes me wonder if he ever fell in love in his past, or had some great romance story in his life which ended badly (perhaps because of Peter, or someone like Peter) and so he's become brooding, embittered and scheming. I know it's cliche the term 'well... there was a woman' but I love that cliche...
So I'm thinking, maybe you initially see Senara as a broken, antagonistic character in the story; or you judge her one way (maybe she hides her brooding ways, and is flirty and scheming instead) until you realise that she had a MASSIVE love story which was beautiful and made her feel human, but it ended tragically (the most tragic thing is maybe SHE killed HIM out of doing the most natural thing for a loving couple to do... yet, audiences may think 'well you knew succubi kills/harms when THEY have sex with men, why one earth would you take that stupid risk?!' but I'll find a reason for that... She acted on her feelings; a very 'human' thing.)
But regardless of this, here's Senara's 'biography' anyway...
A Succubus from the demon world, Senara was used to the hateful, abusive, lustful ways of her kind, and obviously done it herself. Perhaps one day, a human she met while doing a dirty deed, intrigued her. Since then she secretly analysed the ways of the human world; watching loving couples LOVE each other; desperate for it herself (yet not desperate enough to settle for any old guy, since she knew well enough there's a difference between sex, desperation and this strange 'love' thing humans get).
Those of her kind notice her acting more consciously, and less maliciously, giving in less and less, especially when the Incubi (male equivalent to Succubi) come onto her; she'd be a bit hesitant, and think more about her actions rather than the usual 'Succumb to the instinct' rule.
So they banished her from the demon world; before she influences the other demons and to show her the pain that love can give her.
They sent her to the human world as the immortal being she is. She can still control her appearance to look human, yet when she succumbs to her instinct her dark form will show gradually.
By being immortal, she'll fall in love, and many men would fall for HER many, many, many times, and so she'll out-live them (and risk killing them if she has sex with any of them) and experience the pain of guilt and grief that comes with love and human emotion.

She doesn't care, determined to 'even feel pain rather than feel nothing at all'.
She enters the human world feeling an outcast, but after trying her best to fit in, after gaining friends, bonds, relationships that were 'lessons' rather than anything real (while being careful and expressing her unique opinions on life when asked to) she soon finds 'the one'.
I think he'd have had a bad past too, so in this way he couldn't judge her on her past actions when he eventually finds out she's a Succubi (so maybe he's a Captain Hook; complex lonely type; yet not in an annoying way. In a way in which they save and complete each other) they get to know each other, and fall in love and stay together for years upon years, despite the trials they face. He soon finds out she's a succubi which challenges the relationship, but his love for her is too strong to care about what she truly is--since he's not perfect himself.
But she feared the relationship going any further, since she'd want to have sex with him and have a family of her own; and she saw the risks of it all. But she gained the attitude to just LIVE the best she could, and dont live regretting. So took the chance when he proposed.
They do get married, and they try to find a way she could stop the fact that she's a 'killing' machine when having sex by looking to science, myth and anything they could think on. Maybe he was going to die soon anyway or maybe he wanted her to, or maybe they just took a chance, but either way, they make love but he becomes ill (and soon dies). Either that, or he dies another way (but it's most tragic if its by her own hands).
Out of grief, she spends her life succumbing to her succubi ways, experiencing the guilt of having a conscience and 'playing' other guys (like the idea of the Romeo and Cinderella song, at one point the guy thought he was manipulating HER but it was actually the other way around...)
But she's conflicted, and can't find a way out. This wrong doing and potential murder she's doing has to end. I was wondering, since she's linked to the demon world, she's also linked to the spirit world; so perhaps she found a way to see her husband again.
OR
she marries her husband, but so desperate to make love somehow, but fearing killing him, she makes love with someone else to test whether she'd risk life or not. But maybe the dude she has sex with does die, maybe he just gets ill, maybe he doesn't get harmed at all (by some miraculous change) but either way, she cheated on him, and they have a MASSIVE argument and they separate; both brooding more than ever.

And she succumbs to the 7 Deadly Sins (for example, wrath would want her to kill/harm out of anger but her new sense of virtue tries to stop herself from acting on these dark desires. This happens in either plot version.) Maybe, like Hook's relationship with Peter Pan, she gains an enemy and vents all her anger on him/her. She becomes envious of what this other person has, etc and tries to ruin their life. But her conscience does kick in eventually, and gets her comeuppance in some way (she does die in the end whichever plot line we travel on). Maybe as time passes (depending on how much time passes) she begins to age, to show she's becomming more and more human/mortal.
But if her husband survives, they both find a way to return to each other, and save each other again.
If it's HIM she has sex with and kills by accident, then maybe he meets her in spirit form. And in what way does he 'save' her?
Maybe if her husband is still alive (the cheating on him plot-line) then maybe they either find a way they could make love without harming him, or maybe they finally make love and both die in the process. (or, if she's human enough by this point, maybe she could have sex and not kill him but instead they have a child and live happily again? But maybe that'd add more to the complexity and make it unrealistic and less tragic...)
If he's in spirit form, she maybe returns to him in the spirit world, as a 'good' spirit rather than demonic one, because of the love she had for him saving her. Either way, he 'saves' her, by reminding her what love is again, and what it is to be human and why she entered reality in the first place.

So that's, potentially, her life... But how did we find out the story?
Between her getting saved by her husband again (whether he's dead or alive), maybe when she was in her LOWEST moment, someone found her and asked her how she got to where she was... Maybe someone wise or religious or especially forgiving and open-minded who helps her.

And there we are... Senara's story!
But in the actual trailer (and narrative) you'll be looking at the lives of her AND the husband (especially if he stays alive) as well as elements of other characters she meets.
There still may be changes, but this is the best development of it so far!

NEW PLOT TWIST (just to consider):
Unite both ideas, she'll cheat on him, yes, because she recklessly wanted to vent her sexual nature on someone but didnt want to risk the life of her husband. BUT they separate and both get extremely low. They get back together, him agreeing that he wants to fulfill what a normal married couple would do and grieving from having made him ill and killing him, she lives the rest of her life hiding her brooding self with a scheming, flirtatious persona, wanting to ruin the life of another major character (the Peter Pan equivalent character) but she ends up being killed by them, but re-unites with her husband.
