Annapurna Pictures is a film production and
distribution company founded by Megan Ellison in 2011. Annapurna also
invests in financing, production and sales entity Panorama Media, later
renamed Annapurna International.

Most of these films are dramas based on relatable characters, and I already took inspiration from the film and trailer 'Her' on the fact it's about an isolated, love sick protagonist unsure on how to proceed with life. Also, I love how the company isn't too weighed down by massive blockbuster names, and that it's filmography isn't absolutely massive, giving way to make more little 'gems' of movies.

office results have been mixed. While some films such as The Master have
failed to gross their budget, films such as Zero Dark Thirty and American

a quarter of a billion worldwide.
