“It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end… because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing thing… this shadow. Even darkness must pass.”

Organisation: Ancillary Products - Poster Ideas/Drafts and Research Into Target Audience (audience responses to ideas)

I've had this idea for the poster for a while now...
Since I was doing some filming today, when I was done, I just whacked on some eye-liner, drawing a crack on my chest (to represent a cracked doll) and got the lighting sorted and took these photos:

And here're the others...

I am very proud of all of them, I know the crack is rather 'fake' looking, but I could always Photoshop it to make the crack larger, with more highlights and realistic depth.
This poster is supposed to represent how Alice feels like she's been toyed with by both herself and others, and it was her own fault; she broke her own heart by hurting others as well as herself, though she still retains innocence, since she had good intent and is still loved by the guys she met.

  1. I like the first 2 the best, I think direct mode of address is very important for this kind of intimate film.
